This guide will cover supplemental information for Discipline Priests in Legion.
Bear in mind that as the meta develops in the early stages of the season, you can expect to see some changes to the following information.
It’s covered here – quickly – so you can stop scratching you head and get smashing stuff.
Before you do them the wrong way round, ‘cos that might hurt.
Due to the recent buffs to Penance, it is now your strongest single target heal.
Against teams with lots of Ao E pressure, Castigation is the strongest talent on your first tier.
If you’re facing three or more opponents, use Whirlwind instead of or as well as Cleave.Names Kueson, and this is my oddly worded introduction! You control your targets so your allies can charge in and quickly finish them off, this is why all the self healing is preferred as it keeps you alive on the battlefield just that much more. Where other classes (lawl paladin) only have worthless minors that will reduce mana cost, or make something no longer cost a reagent in the minor slot, warriors have minor glyphs that actually change a spell to make it more useful... The only other glyph that could be subbed in here is Intimidating Shout But having your enemies run away is actually a good thing for you, it creates distance that for a melee class, they will have to walk back to there target, wasting precious DPS time, and the farther away they run, the easier it is to combo into a Charge or Intercept. Below is the link to what I believe to be the ideal protection Pv P build. First, I would like to tell you something about myself and what you can expect from this “guide”. (Paladin instead provides awesome utility ardent, Druid massive EHP pool, DK avoidance selfhealing) You will notice that I am not trying to say how are you supposed to play like many others. Majority of my playtime was spend on protection (even though I am an altoholic playing all classes), and I PVP only rarely. Warrior threat generation was fixed (as of 6/2015). How good warrior tank you are going to be depends on how well you can use all the tools you have at your disposal – other tanks have many things included for free in their rotation, while warrior has to actively use them (attack speed slow f.e.) That being said Warrior has potential to take least damage out of all tanks.
