This allows you to verify payments without having to use the Pay Pal Instant Payment Notification API or IPN.
The Pay Pal Instant Payment Notification (IPN) system enables Pay Pal payment servers to send transaction information to your Shopp-powered storefront.
When IPN is enabled in your Pay Pal account, Pay Pal will send order status notifications to your Shopp store for such events as fraud review (hold), payment completion, refunds, payment reversals, etc.
Merchants can also use this information to automatically fulfill orders for digital goods.
This feature applies to Pay Pal Payments Standard transactions, including Buy Now, Donation, Subscriptions, and Shopping Cart buttons.
