They have remained friends, and have agreed to star in an unusual dating show in which Jo’s many suitors must live in Slade’s house as they compete for her affection. At this juncture, Lucas and Chris, both 26, are the finalists. During their “appointment,” Lucas said to Jo, “I know deep down that you don’t really like Slade.” Jo did not necessarily agree with his viewpoint.Oh, and Slade (39 or older, depending on your reference) has thrown his hat in the ring, too. “I think we should just be friends.” Anyway, on last week’s episode, Slade, full of jealousy and green with envy, asked Jo for a single date. Chris proceeded to drop out of the game, but Lucas and Jo persuaded him to stay. Meanwhile, Lucas and Chris have become good friends, and Slade calls their closeness a “bromance.” Jo thinks their camaraderie is a little weird, too.Martin, Michael, David, Nelson, Tyler, Ali, Zack, Steve, Andre, Micah, Vlad, Chuck, Peter and Rameil are all roadkill. Slade is not out of the picture yet, as Jo agreed to have a lunch date with him, even though she told Chris that she wouldn’t. Lucas and Chris catch up with her at the Ivy Hotel. They are shown their small living quarters, 4 twin beds in a cramped room with one bathroom. They have all planned dates and Martin, the real estate salesman, goes first. But then they broke up and moved separately to Los Angeles. Both are pursuing entertainment careers, among other things.
At the end of last week’s show, Jo told Zack, the scruffy model, her original “you didn’t cut it” line, “let’s be friends”.
Slade surprised everyone by interupting Mayia’s spiel by telling Jo that he still had unresolved “feelings” for her and that he wanted a “date”.
When Jo said yes to a date, Chris, then Lucas, stormed off with Jo running in five-inch heels after them.
